DMS began as a programming and consulting firm. And even though our HomeCU has become such an important part of our business, we still do a lot of custom programming. When it’s all said and done, programming is the backbone of everything we do.

The custom-designed software half of our business keeps our programming skills sharp so that we can constantly improve HomeCU. And what we learn working with credit unions helps us to design better custom software for clients in all types of business.

Just what does a “consultant” do anyway?
First, our business analysts take a look at your company and come up with creative ways to meet your software needs. Then our programmers write custom web-based, database-driven applications to help you become more efficient and profitable.

Our clients include some big, famous international food companies, financial institutions, specialty medical offices, and several state agencies. We also work with a lot of small- and medium-sized companies that you’ve probably never heard of--unless you live in Idaho. Basically, no job is too big or small for us to handle.

So why is so much of your Web site about HomeCU?
We’ve found that the Internet is a great way to reach credit unions interested in HomeCU. But most of our consulting business comes from referrals, so we don’t dedicate a lot of Web pages to that half of the business.
